Caliber

In order to ensure an enjoyable experience for both the event participants and our resort guests we ask that the tournament organizer estimate the caliber level of the participants.

Play Format

The format of play has a major influence on both the pace of play for the event as well as the participant’s enjoyment level. Please review our suggestions below and chose the format that will best suit your event. If there is a different format that you would like to use, we would be happy to review it with you.

• A - Team Scramble – Recommended for groups larger than 36 players and/or have no advanced players.
  • Format explanation: All players tee off. The best drive is selected and all players move their balls to that location. All players hit again, and the format is repeated until the golf ball is holed out. This format can be altered to be made more difficult by setting a minimum amount of drives to be used by each player.
• B - Team Best Ball (2 or 4 person) – Recommended for groups that are less than 36 players and have intermediate and/or advanced players.
  • Format explanation: All players on the team play their own ball throughout the round. The best score out of the team members is recorded as the team score. This f
